Our latest JotunBash. This time in Unreal Engine. More pretty, more violent, more silly more JotunBash.

It was built for the Specialkompasset Expo, so you run it on a computer and an operator helps people get the headset on, then starts the experience. and each person has a roughly 5 minute game experience.

Between plays, the headset looks like it is in valhalla.

Once they have the set on, you press "Spacebar" and they are moved into the gameworld.

They start in a viking village with the hammer. The grab button summons the hammer, and with a throwing motion and letting go of the button you can throw the hammer and summon it back.

Once they have gotten used to the controls, they can smash a gate and they are moved to the battle area.

Here targets will start to appear and they have a while to get used to aiming the hammer at close targets and targets further away.

Gradually Jotun will start to appear. They have 20 hitpoints, so the Jotun CAN kill them and end the game.

After a while a Big Boss Jotun shows up. The Boss will throw rocks at the player, and again this can make them lose. They cannot dodge the rocks but if they throw the hammer at the rocks before they hit, no damage is given.

If they run out of time or their hitpoints are reduced to zero, they loose.. If they can beat the Big Boss before the timer runs out, they win.

In either case they are moved back to Valhalla when the game is over and the next player can try.

Points are awarded, and a crude highscore is shown on the spectator screen.

It is built to run on Windows and takes up 2 gigabytes of space.
